My name is Bailey Watkins. I joined the board in January 2022. I began my journey in the Transportation industry in May 2022 when I decided to follow in my father's footsteps. My father, Keith Watkins and I are now a father-daughter sales team in the world of Third Party Logistics. I graduated with a Bachelors degree in Psychology and a minor in Entrepreneurship in May 2022 from the University of Mississippi aka Ole Miss.
Earlier this year, I joined Hanzo Logistics as the Director of National Accounts. Since working at Hanzo, I've had the opportunity to work across many different industries to bring in new business. Being a part of the Hanzo team is like having another family. The team and support has pushed me to new levels of my career. Every day I learn something new in this fast-paced industry. I am never bored nor tired of my job. I love the challenge and the differences that each day brings. Being a problem solver, I find excitement in working to solve customers' transportation and logistics needs.
My father, introduced me to Barb last year around November and ever since I have been involved in the ITC, attending meetings and events. Being a part of this club has been a tremendous boost for my networking skills. I have met a multitude of inspiring professionals within the industry through the ITC. It has helped me gain new customers for my business, and more importantly friends and mentors who have helped guide my success.
My favorite event so far has been the Annual Track Day event at the Indianapolis 500 Track. Hanzo Logistics sponsored the bar for this event. My colleagues and a few customers shared this amazing day with us! I also got to meet Peter through this event who is our newest board member and received the ITC scholarship back in 2018!
